Parents are saying…

“I had the pleasure of working with Christina as an employee AND a patient. When I say she goes above and beyond, she truly does. She provides excellent evidence based care to her patients regardless of what feeding path they are choosing to take. Christina is patient, kind and supportive. I wouldn’t have been able to successfully breastfeed by son until he was 20 months old without her!”

“Christina offers just what every new mom needs - an informed perspective that promotes support without judgement. When I was a new mom, Christina listened to me and asked good questions about why I wanted to breastfeed. She quickly understood my goals and that I wanted to have a strong breastfeeding relationship with my newborn. And when I was uncertain, she was there to support me with scientific information about early development and cues from my baby. She provided just the right amount of guidance, while also helping me uncover my own instincts as a mother”

“As someone who needed support during my breastfeeding journeys (and I’m sure I’ll need her for round 3 too), Christina is super knowledgeable, responsive and supportive! She was made for helping mamas and their little ones”

“Christina has been with me during my last two pregnancies, and she’s not only given me breastfeeding support, but emotional support through my PICU and NICU stays.”

“My breastfeeding journey did not go the way as planned due to my son being hospitalized his first few weeks of life. I was unable to latch him during that time; therefore, I had to pump. I was introduced to Christina who made my pumping experience much smoother. She even made sure I had lots of snacks. By the time I was able to latch my son directly to my breast, Christina was there to be sure everything would go great! Christina was absolutely helpful for me and my family during that difficult time. Not just when it came to nursing, but just being there as a listening ear and making sure I had everything I needed.”

- Shera S.

“Words can’t describe the extent to which Christina helped me after the birth of my 3rd baby (but I’ll try anyway!) Ultimately, Christina values my knowledge from previous babies and guided me through the very different postpartum of having a preterm baby in the NICU. For a month (and beyond) she was there to help me find a comfortable way to pump, validate my experiences and help me navigate a new normal. Breastfeeding can be freaking hard and she did all she could to make the experience a positive one. She did all this with LOVE and went above and beyond “just lactation”. She is an angel and any family who works with her will experience her blessing too.”

- Cecily G.

“Thank you so muchhhh for all your supports and advice. It definitely made my mama and son milk journey so much easier. JJ and I wouldn’t have made it breastfeeding for a whole year without you!”

- Wichada S.

“I got to meet Christina during her work when she was the covering IBCLC at my hospital.

When my baby got readmitted for weight loss and jaundice, just one day after we got discharged from L&D, Christina came in with such compassion for our new family. She listened to our story and quickly came up with a plan for us to hit the ground running with this admission : a feeding strategy, a pumping strategy and all the supplies we needed to get through it - nipple shields, pump parts, you name it. She even went out of her way to find me post-partum care supplies since we came in so unexpectedly.

Christina was our constant cheerleader during our admission and even made sure to check up on us after discharge. I can not say enough about what a caring and strong advocate she is. It was her encouragement and tips that kept me going in my breastfeeding journey.”
