Christina Berlett BSN, RN, IBCLC (she/her)

I have been an international board certified lactation consultant (IBCLC) since 2018 and worked with thousands of families in the hospital, including babies in the NICU and PICU. I have been a pediatric nurse for 16 years, with 8 of those being in the Pediatric ICU.

When my son was born in 2010, I had no idea how much we would struggle with breastfeeding! I didn’t have the support and resources I needed to meet my feeding goals. In 2013 when my daughter was born, I had help from amazing IBCLCs. Even though we had obstacles - tongue and lip tie, thrush, mastitis - I met my breastfeeding goals because of the support I received.

I thought “if this support and guidance made such a difference for me, maybe I could do that for other parents!”

I became a La Leche League leader in 2014 and began working toward certification as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.

I provide holistic care for you and your baby, to support your feeding goals and help you uncover your own instincts as a parent.

Here at Mama Moon, I support however you’re trying to feed your baby. While you may see the term breastfeeding more, I support LGBTQIA couples expanding their families. Please let me know your preferences on terms and pronouns.
